Common Issues - Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a musculoskeletal disorder in which there is a sideways curvature of the spine resulting in an S or C shape. About 85% of scoliosis cases have unknown causes. Scoliosis is NOT caused by poor posture, diet, exercise or the use of backpacks.

Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Your health care provider will examine the spine as well as the shoulders, hips, legs and rib cage for signs of scoliosis.
- X-Rays can be done to confirm the diagnosis and determine the extent of the spinal curvature.
- Electrical Stimulation of muscles
- Manual Therapy
- Specific exercises to prevent the curvature progression
